Every prompt on Prompt Monkey is free for personal and commercial use. Copy it, remix it, ship it — no attribution required and no license fee.
Prompts on Prompt Monkey come from a mix of sources — our own team, community submissions, and prompt ideas we've come across being shared publicly on platforms like Pinterest, Instagram, and elsewhere online. We test and often rewrite prompts before listing them, and we don't knowingly publish copyrighted or restricted material as prompt text. Sample images are either generated for demonstration purposes or added as illustrative examples of the kind of output a prompt can produce.
The people shown in our sample outputs are AI-generated and are not intended to depict or resemble any real individual. A small number of prompts (4–5) feature reference images of our own team members, used with their consent to demonstrate how a prompt performs on a real photo — these are clearly our own creative choice, not a claim about anyone else's likeness.
If you believe a prompt, image, or description on this site was posted without proper rights, or infringes something you own, use the form below. Include enough detail for us to find it, and we'll review and remove it promptly once we can verify the claim.
The "Submit an idea" and rights-concern forms on this site ask for an optional or required email address. We only use it to follow up on that specific submission — we don't add it to a mailing list, share it with anyone else, or use it for marketing. If you don't hear back, feel free to assume we didn't need to follow up.
Effective date: August 4, 2026. This explains what Prompt Monkey (operated by Bench Work Labs) collects, why, and what rights you have over it.
Browsing Prompt Monkey — searching, filtering, viewing, liking, or copying a prompt — doesn't require an account and doesn't collect your name or email. Your theme preference (light/dark) is stored only in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
If you use the "Submit an idea" form, we collect the idea/category you enter and, optionally, your email if you choose to provide one. If you use the "Report a rights concern" form, we collect your name, email, the prompt/image you're referencing, and the details of your claim. We also automatically log basic technical data for every request (such as IP address and timestamps) to prevent abuse — for example, to limit how many submissions or login attempts can come from one source in a short period.
This site works with Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can review or opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings, and learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We don't control third-party ad cookies directly and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
We use submitted information only to respond to that specific submission or resolve that specific rights concern, and to keep the site secure from spam and abuse. We don't build a mailing list, sell your data, or use form submissions for advertising or marketing.
Form submissions and site data are stored with our database and hosting providers (Neon and Vercel), who process it on our behalf under their own security practices. Google AdSense operates independently as described above. We do not sell personal information to anyone.
We keep submitted form data only as long as needed to resolve the request, after which it may be deleted or anonymized. Automated abuse-prevention logs are kept for a short rolling window and then cleared.
If you're in the EU/EEA or UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you're a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" — though we don't sell or share personal information with third parties for their own advertising purposes beyond the standard AdSense integration described above. Exercising these rights won't result in different treatment on the site.
To exercise any of these rights, use the "Report a rights concern" form under and describe what you'd like us to do.
Prompt Monkey isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us via the rights-concern form and we'll delete it.
Our hosting and database providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. By using the site, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
